The DeWalt DC9180-2 18-Volt Lithium Ion Nano Battery - 2-Pack will give you two batteries that are backwards compatible with all of DeWalt's 18-Volt tools. A more robust compound than the older NiCad batteries, the DeWalt DC9180 will stand up to the abuses and constant use of the jobsite. The DC9180 batteries are NOT compatible with the DeWalt DW9116 XRP Battery Chargers and requires the use of one of the new Lithium-Ion compatible chargers - DC9310, DC9320 or DC9319 - Not Included.
